About My Business

I am truly blessed to be able to say I love my work.  I’m not yet where I want to be financially, but I am self employed and, as such, I have the freedom to plan my days as I please and am not just being paid what someone else thinks I’m worth, whilst making them rich instead of me.

I took the plunge to leave paid employment and master the art of internet marketing full time in 2012, having had success selling on ebay and Amazon whilst working part time. So I set up my own company, Media Manor, and since then I have discovered some amazing people, products and services that have helped me enormously in my personal and business life (I’ve discovered some terrible ones as well, but you don’t need to know about those!).

One of the biggest lessons I ever learned in business was that you don’t need to be the expert in something in order to help someone with a problem, so long as you know where they can get a trustworthy and reliable solution.

How many times have you recommended someone or something to a friend or family member in order to make their lives better in some way? And I’m sure people have done the same for you, right? Maybe you’ve even asked someone you trust “Hey Paul, do you know someone who’s good with computers?”.

I believe my own skills lie in curating great content and, where I feel it’s necessary, re-writing or adding to it in order to make it even better. Some of the information on my site is free, some of it there is a charge for; ALL of it is great value.

I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and have dedicated an entire site to collating my favourites. You can find these at www.WisdomShack.com

So many people moan about their jobs, or other areas of their lives that are not working, but are not prepared to do anything about it. I hope that’s not you; I hope you have a dream to live for. And, by the way, ‘living it’ doesn’t mean you’ve got there yet – your dream begins with your idea and ends with its fulfilment – wherever you are between those two points you are living your dream – remember that.

Don’t have a dream? Then GET ONE!  It’s never too late.
